For almost six years, Sheryl has solved big problems facing our City. Her passion for public service is evident in the long hours, thoughtful questions and research on tough issues facing our government and decisive leadership that results in strong coalitions and solutions.

Her background as an attorney and a CPA help gives her a unique perspective that is necessary to govern while maintaining the public trust.

Here are some of her accomplishments as the Place 6 City Councilmember:

Led the initiative to restore and revitalize Waller Creek which will create jobs
Made sure that Austin Police Department installed video cameras in every vehicle unit
Supported permanent supportive housing to create affordable places to live for Austin’s most vulnerable
